Harvest the Music awesome concert series - Doctor John
On 10/6, I packed up the car with my husband and two girls to battle rush hour traffic to New Orleans. Destination: A Harvest the Music free concert with The Treme Band, and Doctor John and the Lower 911. Upon arrival, we navigated through people, people, and more people. Lafayette Square was packed, and we had to set up camp way back from the stage. So far back that I couldn't even see the musicians, but all was good because we made it. We were there. All was even better because proceeds from the THOUSANDS of tickets sold for food and drink were benefitting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana and its mission of fighting hunger across south Louisiana.
